The Laurel Highlands Trout Trail, under the direction of Executive Director Olga Herbert, has a host of activities lined up this month that should wet the appetite of anyone interested in fly-fishing – and its for everybody – so please take note.
Once again, The Laurel highlands Trout Trail Rendezvous will be held at Hidden Valley Resort, Saturday, April 20, from 2 to 6 p.m. In addition to a wonderful buffet of appetizers, one may visit the assorted dessert/coffee bar where one will savor the flavor of a fine combination of food. Elite Fly-Fisherman Leo Vensel (pictured) will be on hand to first demonstrate casting after which he will then make his presentation.

Trout Run Bridge Replacement to Begin Saltlick Township, Fayette County
Uniontown – Motorists who travel Indian Head Road (Route 1054) in Saltlick Township, Fayette County will soon have a new bridge making travel over Trout Run Creek safer.
